Player Prop Bets for Week 5
NFL Week 5 Writeup Eagles vs Jags: Game in London. I'm taking Bhayshul Tuten over 9.5 receiving yards here. Tuten has logged 17+ rec yards in 3/4 games this season, and is matched up with a Philadelphia defense that just allowed 10 receptions and 67 receiving yards to Kyren Williams. This could be a huge bounce back game from Parker Washington. The Eagles have struggled against slot receivers this season, and Washington leads the team in slot routes. He's also the most targeted player against zone coverage. I'll be taking Trevor Lawrence ATD (+310) for .1u, and Lawrence 2+ TDs (+3000) for .1u as longshots. Lawrence has yet to score this season, but I like this matchup for him. In Week 2, the Eagles allowed 2 rushing TDs to Cam Ward, and in Week 3, Case Keenum found paydirt as well. In their last matchup in 2024, Lawrence scored twice. Philadelphia is missing Barkley and Smith for this one. Tank Bigsby is also on IR, so Will Shipley should be leadback. I'd expect Dallas Goedert and Dontayvion Wicks to be the biggest beneficiaries of Smith's absence. .1u on Hurts ATD (+195) and .1u on Goedert ATD (+300). Giants vs Commanders: I'm taking Malik Nabers over 54.5 rec yards for .5u (FanDuel Sportsbook). The Giants are matched up with a Commanders pass defense that's ranked 25th in the league, giving up an average of 242.5 passing yards per game. Washington has allowed 100+ rec yards to opposing WR1s in 2/L3 games, and Nabers is coming off an 112-yard performance where he saw 7 targets. Additionally, Nabers has logged 59+ rec yards in all three career games played vs the Commanders. NOTE: There are some weather concerns here, possible heavy wind and rain. That could definitely affect usage for receivers — just keep your eye on that. If the weather holds up, Isaiah Likely could also have a big game. .1u on Likely ATD (+240) and .1u on Ekeler ATD (+500) as longshots. No full unit plays for the Commanders here. Bengals vs Dolphins: I'm running it back with Malik Washington 40.5 rec yards here (Fanatics Sportsbook). Washington has cleared this mark in all four games this season, logging 53+ rec yards in three of them. Coming off a 67-yard performance, Washington should be the number one option in this offense going forward without Achane. Furthermore, Washington is leading the team in total targets, and he doesn't need a big game to clear this line. For Cincinnati, Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins are both questionable. I like Chase Brown to score here, but at -180, there's no value for a straight bet. I'm rolling with Mike Gesicki ATD (+240) and Chase Brown 2+ TDs (+370) as longshots, both .1u.Here's a fun fact: in his only career game vs Miami, Chase Brown scored 3 TDs. The Dolphins have also allowed 2+ TDs to RBs in three out of four games this season. If Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins don't play, I'd keep my eye on Dohnte Meyers and Mitchell Tinsley. Raiders vs Patriots: I'm running it back with Brock Bowers 70+ rec yards in this one. Bowers has cleared 86+ rec yards in both games this season, and although the Patriots excel at defending the tight end position, Bowers isn't a normal tight end. He frequently lines up out wide and in the slot, making him harder to defend with conventional TE coverage. In their matchup last year, Bowers logged 103 rec yards on 5 receptions. .25u on Kirk Cousins over 1.5 passing TDs (+115): a mark he's hit in every game this season. The Patriots are also missing four cornerbacks for this game, including Gonzalez..1u on Demario Douglas (+310) and .1u on Drake Maye ATD (+370) as longshots. Nothing else for New England here. Vikings vs Saints: This is a great matchup for Justin Jefferson for the same reasons it was for London last week. He's questionable, but if he plays, he could see high volume, and the Vikings should be looking to get him involved. I'm taking Jefferson over 75.5 rec yards (Fanatics Sportsbook) and Jefferson ATD (+165), both .5u plays. The Saints have the 26th ranked defense in the NFL, 30th against the run. Aaron Jones should have another big game here. It's worth noting that Jones has logged 50+ yards rushing and 34 yards receiving in b2b outings. If you want some Saints, I'd target Johnson or Olave in the pass game. .1u on Johnson ATD (+320), .1u on Hockenson ATD (+300), and .1u on Fant ATD (+800) as longshots. NOTE: If Jefferson does not play, I'd target Hockenson and Jones. Colts vs Steelers: Some weather concerns here as well. Expect both teams to lean on their run games if the rain is a problem. I'm taking Roman Wilson 40+ rec yards as a .5u play. Roman Wilson has logged 60+ rec yards in b2b games, and is matched up with a pass defense ranked 29th overall. Furthermore, the Colts play man-heavy defense, and Wilson is the most frequently targeted Steeler in man coverage..1u on Downs ATD (+230) and .1u on Wilson ATD (+280) as longshots. Bears vs Packers: Ben Johnson has made his dislike for Green Bay pretty clear. This should be a fun one. I'm taking Rome Odunze 40+ rec yards in this one. In Bagent's first start this season, Odunze recorded 94 yards on 7 targets. Odunze has also recorded 40+ rec yards in all four games this season..25u on Watson ATD (+185). 11:51 PMBet Bot Texans vs Titans: No straight bets here. If you want something, stick with Nico. I'd also keep my eye on Tate. Nobody's talking about it, but he quietly broke out in Week 4, logging 145 rec yards on 12 targets. Game script had a lot to do with that, but Tate also draws another good matchup this week against a pass defense ranked 28th in the league. Browns vs Jets: Weather concerns here, projected rainfall. I'd target Judkins, Boston, Wilson, and Sadiq — but nothing here personally. Judkins probably has a good game overall. Lions vs Cardinals: O/U at a whopping 54.5, highest on the slate. This is one of your games to target: two bottom 10 pass defenses going head-to-head. I'm rolling with Jacoby Brissett over 1.5 passing TDs here as a 1.5u play. Brissett has logged 2 passing TDs in b2b games, and is matched up with a pass defense ranked dead last in the NFL, giving up an average of 304 passing yards per game. Detroit has also allowed 2+ passing TDs to opposing quarterbacks in all four games this season, with 3 passing TDs allowed in three of them..25u on McBride ATD (+110) and .25u on Wilson ATD (+140). The Lions should put it on the Cardinals here, especially following a loss. .5u on St. Brown ATD, .25u on Jamo ATD (+175), .1u on Brock Wright ATD (+650), and .1u on Jamo ATD + Brock Wright ATD SGP (+1900). Gibbs probably scores a couple, but please don't put a -450 ATD in your slip. Take him for 2, or leave him off. Broncos vs Chargers: Not my favorite matchup. .25u on Hampton ATD (+165) as my only play here. The Broncos have allowed a rushing TD in 3/L4 games, and Hampton scored in his only career matchup vs Denver. Hampton has also scored in three out of four games this season. I'd also keep my eye on RJ Harvey in the pass game. We hit that parlay with Jeanty and Harvey's rec yards last week, and I'll be taking Harvey in another parlay in Week 5. Harvey has logged 40+ rec yards and 6+ receptions in b2b outings, and is matched up with a Chargers defense that just allowed 39 rec yards and a receiving TD to Emanuel Wilson last week. 49ers vs Seahawks: This could be an absolute shootout or a defensive slugfest. O/U sits at 46.5, so Vegas seems to think shootout. I'm taking Mike Evans over 46.5 rec yards (Fanatics Sportsbook) as a .5u play.Evans has cleared this line in three out of four games this season, with 76 rec yards on 8 targets last week. The Seahawks also play a lot of zone, and Evans has been elite against zone coverage with Purdy..25u on Evans ATD (+200). This could be a big game through the air for Christian McCaffrey. Nothing for Seattle. Ravens vs Falcons: If it ain't broke, don't fix it — rolling with Drake London 80+ rec yards as a 1.5u play. London has now cleared this line in five straight games (7/L8) with Penix at QB. Baltimore has also allowed 80+ receiving yards to WR1s in three straight games, with Lamb and Tate both recording 110+. This isn't relevant, but it's also worth mentioning that London logged 96 rec yards in his only career matchup vs the Ravens back in 2022. Parlay 1: Jacoby Brissett over 1.5 passing TDs, Drake London 70+ rec yards (+200) .25u (favorite) Parlay 2: RJ Harvey 25+ rec yards, Trey McBride 80+ rec yards (+200) .25u Parlay 3: Nico Collins ATD, Christian Watson ATD (+550) .25u Degen parlay 1: Jameson Williams 40+ rec yards, Jeremiyah Love over 11.5 rec yards, Jahan Dotson 10+ rec yards, Justice Hill 10+ rec yards (+600) .1u Degen parlay 2: George Kittle ATD, Amon-Ra St. Brown ATD, Jonathan Taylor ATD (+660) .1u Degen parlay 3: Bhayshul Tuten ATD, D'Andre Swift ATD, Omarion Hampton ATD (+730) .1u (favorite) Degen parlay 4: Woody Marks ATD, Tyler Allgeier ATD (+830) .1u Degen parlay 5: Rome Odunze 50+ rec yards, Malik Washington 50+ rec yards, Emanuel Wilson 15+ rec yards (+1040) .1u (good value) Degen parlay 6: Isaac TeSlaa ATD, Mike Evans ATD (+1430) .1u Retirement: Tyler Shough 250+ passing yards, Justin Herbert 200+ passing yards, Zay Flowers 80+ rec yards, Puka Nacua 125+ rec yards (tomorrow) (+3320) .1u Less than 2u total on the parlays, remember to play your straights. Great game coming up tomorrow. Good luck!
