Abbreviated Recap for 8/25/2022
Stock up
Jacksonville Jaguars
Evan Engram – Engram could be a post-hype sleeper with his move from the New York Giants to Jaguars and as it’s noted below, Doug Pederson likes to use his tight ends.
“Doug Pederson very simply said , ‘I like tight ends.’ Engram and Arnold Stock going up.”

“My Jaguars Fantasy sleeper is by far Evan Engram.
His ADP is low and IF he stays healthy he is going to put up numbers.”

Jacksonville Jaguars
James Robinson – Robinson is coming off an Achilles tear, but he’s made a very quick recovery it looks like. How much work and how effective he will be early on will be telling considering Cam Akers also made a quick recovery last year for the Rams but looked less than stellar in his return.
“James Robinson looks ready to go.”

Tennessee Titans
Robert Woods – Woods is looking good considering he is coming off an ACL tear from last year. Treylon Burks has struggled in camp so far so if Woods is healthy, he could lead this team in targets this year.

Tennessee Titans
Derrick Henry – Derrick Henry is a freak, go figure. He’s looking fast and healthy in camp and I’m guessing the Titans will continue to feed the beast.
“For those wondering if Derrick Henry still has acceleration, he just cut off his left foot and exploded through a hole, got upfield in a hurry.”

Philadelphia Eagles
Jalen Hurts – Hurts has had his struggles in camp but overall the vibes seem good for the young QB to take his passing game to the next level.
“Dolphins coach Mike McDaniel on Eagles QB Jalen Hurts: ‘I think he’s really developing in his pass game. He’s always been able to throw real well, but as far as the timing and how he competes in that way. And they do a great job featuring him in the run game as well.’”

Stock down
Washington Commanders
Antonio Gibson – poor Antonio Gibson just keeps getting his stock pushed down. It looks like he may have lost his starting job to rookie RB Brian Robinson Jr and with him now returning kicks, you have to wonder where he fits into this offense with Washington retaining third down specialist JD McKissic.
“Ron Rivera on if RB Antonio Gibson will be the team’s top kick returner this season: ‘You still need to see some more stuff, but you know, I think he is. I do. I think he’s done a nice job.’”

Rookies
New York Jets
Breece Hall – Hall is a stud but it looks like he may not be the starting running back week 1 for the New York Jets. Expectations need to be tempered.
“Michael Carter, a good day of running and catching. He’s still RB1.”
⭐️Michael Carter, a good day of running and catching. He's still RB1 …Berrios had 3 catches on final "unscripted" drive … Gardner, tight coverage on long pass to Berrios. Gardner still alternating with Hall. That probably won't last much longer.

Quick hitters
Seattle Seahawks
I’m not sure if this QB battle really matters but it sounds like Geno Smith still has a leg up on Drew Lock.
“Pete Carroll on Geno Smith vs Drew Lock: ‘Geno has been the number-one guy the whole time. He’s held onto it.’ Smith will start again tomorrow night at Dallas. Carroll says that’s important that he starts again in the preseason finale.”

Injury News
Dallas Cowboys
The Cowboys got some bad news this morning and it looks like star LT Tyron Smith will miss a significant amount of time which should hurt the entire offense as a whole.
“Cowboys standout LT Tyron Smith actually suffered an avulsion fracture of the knee, meaning the hamstring tendon that sits at the back of the knee pulled off the bone and he needs surgery, sources say. If he’s back at all, it’ll be December. A tough loss.”
