START(s) of the Week

July 7, 2023

QB – Jared Goff (vs TB) – Goff has been average at best from a fantasy standpoint this season. But now he gets the Bucs at home, who were just torched by Daniel Jones. All signs point to this being the week that the Rams offense looks like its 2018 version.

RB – Wayne Gallman (vs NYG) – Due to the Saquon Barkley ankle injury, Gallman is in line to get 15+ touches this week against a weak Redskins defense. The Giants offense looked much better with Daniel Jones at the helm, which should give Gallman at least 1 touchdown opportunity to go with his 15+ touches. He should also be a factor in the passing game.

WR – Mike Williams (@ MIA) – This is the week. The Chargers pass game has almost solely gone through Keenan Allen through 3 weeks.  Now they get a Dolphins team that might be the worst team in history. If there’s ever a week for Mike Williams to get back on track, this is the week. A multi-touchdown performance would be nice, but owners would take 1 touchdown at this point. – OUT. Mike Williams will not play vs the Dolphins. Pivoting to Marquise Brown. Neither starting Browns corner has practiced this week.

TE – Will Dissly (@ ARI) – Last week I went with the TE (Greg Olsen) that was playing the Cardinals and it worked out, so I’m doing it again. In his last 2 games, Dissly has averaged 52 yards per game and has scored 3 total touchdowns. The Cardinals have been miserable against TEs this year, so look for Dissly to have another nice game.

One note – Patrick Mahomes (@ DET) is playing in a dome for the first time in his NFL career. Try to get Demarcus Robinson and Mecole Hardman in your lineups if you are an underdog needing a big performance.
