Zach’s Pick: Jaylen Waddle o62.5 Receiving Yards
Simple reasons: Jaylen Waddle is very good and the Dolphins will be playing catchup again.

Matt’s Pick: Jakobi Meyers o48.5 Receiving Yards
Meyers has gone over this mark twice this season and if the Patriots want to have any shot at beating Baltimore they need to feed Meyers regularly. I expect Meyers to exploit the intermediate level of the field. He’s ranked #16 in targets against man coverage and I can see plenty of that today.
Matt’s New Pick: Sterling Shepard o43.5 Receiving Yards
Jakobi Meyers has run 918 routes since the start of 2020.

43 receivers have run 900+ routes during that time. Here are the ones with both a higher target and yard per route run rate than Jakobi Meyers:
Davante Adams
Cooper Kupp
Stefon Diggs
Justin Jefferson
Tyreek Hill

Zach’s Pick: Kansas City Chiefs -5.5
Sometimes it feels too good to be true or that it’s a trap, but I can’t bet against the Chiefs not winning by a touchdown plus against a washed up Matt Ryan. It’s easy to envision the Chiefs jumping out to a double digit lead, then the Colts kind of fighting back before the Chiefs coast to a win.
Matt’s Pick: Carolina Panthers +3
Since Zach stole my pick I’m going to take Carolina. This feels like an absolute must win game for Matt Rhule if he wants to stay an NFL head coach. I think this is the week we see heavy usage out of McCaffrey. Rhule has put the pressure on Mayfield to step up this week in practice. There seems to be a no-nonsense and this is personal vibe coming from most beat writers in Carolina. This team has every tool needed to grind out a cover here. Winston is a wildcard with his back being messed up still and if the defense, tied for 19th in sacks, can at all get to him it’s going to make things interesting. This coupled with the fact the Panthers have been in both games this year only to lose both by late 4th guarter field goals. This line pushes and covers both those games.
CMC is the Cam Newton of the Carolina Panthers now. Have to do everything and carry so much weight until they burn him out.
