Packers – Deshone Kizer and J’Mon Moore had huge days. Moore had impressive catch after impressive catch. Aaron Rodgers threw touchdowns to Aaron Jones, Robert Tonyan, and Jimmy Graham during a third and goal drill. Tonyan with a nice one hand grab. He continues to make plays as the second TE. Dexter Williams shined, showing off his ability to make one cut and go. Jamaal Williams sat out practice with a hamstring, allowing Dexter Williams to get more run with the first and second team.
Raiders – Darren Waller showed out in 11 on 11s, taking off down the right sideline and going up to make a catch in traffic on a pass from Derek Carr.
Bengals – AJ Green came down with what seems to be an ankle injury. It looked really bad initially, but there is some optimism that it isn’t as bad as it seems. Maybe a high ankle sprain. John Ross felt his hamstring tighten so he didn’t practice.
Cardinals – Kyler Murray has looked every bit of a #1 pick until today. He had some rookie moments but he was able to bounce back. KeeSean Johnson seems to be leading the pack of rookie WRs. He’s a very natural receiver. Andy Isabella has a nice day. Hakeem Butler has a “ways to go”.
Titans – Derrick Henry is in a walking boot. It isn’t considered serious. Jeremy McNichols got some run with the first team with Henry out and looked very good. Adam Humphries has been impossible to cover. Alex Barnes was last in the RB pecking order. Tajae Sharpe had a nice day and is the starting WR opposite Corey Davis.
Patriots – Sony Michel is back and focusing on being a factor in the pass game.
Saints – Keith Kirkwood is taking a lot of the #1 reps that Michael Thomas would normally take. The Drew Brees to Jared Cook connection is off to a very good start.
Bills – John Brown looks like the clear cut #1 receiver.
Ravens – Lamar Jackson had a great day, along with Miles Boykin once again. The Jackson to Mark Andrews connection is also blossoming even more.
Vikings – Ameer Abdullah, not Alexander Mattison, worked in with the second team. Chad Beebe and Jordan Taylor are splitting reps as the WR3, with Beebe maybe having the slight edge.
Panthers – DJ Moore and Curtis Samuel had explosive practices today
Dolphins – Preston Williams beat Xavian Howard in 1v1s, which isn’t easy to do. Kalen Ballage is the goal line back thus far and seems to have some added juice this year. Kenyan Drake had a good practice too.
Bucs – Scott Miller was targeted a lot today. Jameis Winston had an up and down day.
Chiefs – Sammy Watkins and Byron Pringle had stand out catches today. Watkins especially.
Giants – Golden Tate hit with a 4 game suspension. Cody Latimer is taking advantage of his opportunity.
